Edgemoor Camping is a small campsite with only 10 pitches on the doorstep of Exmoor. We welcome tents, small campers and stays in our cabin. Set in our four acre, newly re-wilded field you are surrounded by nature. We have planted over 600 trees and are enjoying seeing more and more wildlife visit us. Look out for hares, pheasants, buzzards, smaller birds and wildflowers.

Our cabin is insulated, double glazed and heated with a wood burner to keep you cozy and warm. There is a king size bed and bunkbeds to accommodate 4 guests. Outside there is seating and a firepit to help you enjoy those starlit nights, stunning views of Exmoor and relax after a busy day.

Alan, has handmade all our facilities and the cabin using reclaimed materials, thus adding to our sustainable ethos. Come and relax, enjoy the views, starry skies, sunrises and sunsets. Toast marshmallows over your fire and get away from the busy day-to-day.

Less than a mile down the road, with sea views along the way, lies Bratton Fleming, complete with its own village shop and play park. There are also pop-up pub nights and visiting food vans. Barnstaple is just a short drive away, offering its recently refurbished Pannier Market and a range of amenities. Exmoor is only a stone’s throw away, perfect for walking and the occasional freshwater dip!

We’re located on Cycle Route NCN3, making us the perfect place to rest your weary legs if you’re a keen cyclist. For family cycling, the Tarka Trail is easily accessible, with bike hire available if you haven’t brought your own. If surfing or sea swimming are more your thing, then you have a wealth of beautiful beaches to choose from. Our closest beach, Combe Martin is less than 20 minutes away and Saunton Sands, Croyde, Woolacombe & Ilfracombe are all less than 40 minutes away.
